who moved to Wilson Co. from Guilford Co., NC about 1820. Trying to definitely
connect this Richard to my (apparent) 3rd GG, Howard Ozment, (born abt. 1778
in MD or VA.,married Elizabeth LISTER Guilford Co.,NC). No record of will
or other record giving names of any children for Richard in Guilford Co.NC.
Possibly some source in TN can help. I have the info on Eddins/Eddings and
Chandler connection to Ozment family - different branch. If I can prove
connection between "old man Richard of TN", I can trace back to John OSMENT,
Sr. of England.
Can you help or provide lead?
