I have found references to the following families with connections to the
Middle TN region in the JONES COUNTY, NC, work by Gwyn.
WATSON of Sumner County - most probably same as in Wilson County
JEREMIAH PRITCHETT (PRICHARD) and his wife, MARY LAKE (LEAK) - originally from Dorchester Co., MD, who migrated to Jones Co., NC, in the mid 1750s, died leaving several children, who in turn died without direct heirs. There are extant court records which trace the relatives of this couple for four generations.
There is a BENJAMIN ASKEW who appears frequently in the deeds of Jones Co, up until the early 1800s. This could be the BENJAMIN who migrated to Wilson Co.
