Three ways to submit items to be added to Giles County Web Page:
- E-mail (preferred)
I can read any .txt or .rtf or .doc file or WordPerfect file. Also most graphics extensions, .jpg, .gif, .bmp, .tif, etc. Please do NOT send .pdf files (Adobe Reader format). (Email Address below)
- U.S. Mail a 3.5" disk or CD
If you have trouble with attachments with your e-mail program, you can mail me a 3.5" disk or a CD with your files on it. Send me an email or put a message on the Mail List. I will send you my postal address. (Email Address below)
- U.S. Mail photos or some documents
You can mail me photos, small documents like Wills, Obituaries, etc. Don't mail me large printed documents or printed gen-charts. My time limitations do not allow for transcribing documents or charts. Contact me, if you have any questions.
- Things I can not use
I can not use any items that are copied from books, periodicals, newsletters, etc. that are copyrighted, unless I have the publisher's written permission.
- Problems creating a file?
If you are having problems creating a generation chart file or attaching a file, send me a note and we will try to work it out. Or we can find someone who has the same programs and ask them for assistance.
