My dear sir;

Mr. LOCKHART says he sold all the ? coming from E. WAY Estate say 15th May 1828
By 1/2 weights this piece for the wt. 500 acres with the rest for 15 May 18__ to this date he will pay you say to 15th Nov of $415.72.

Or he will get the wt. As soon as possible pay you in warrant at cash price 500 acres by 1/2 as the 15th May.

Or he will give you land in the Western District at cash price for the best for the wt.

He wishes a little time he says the $53.50 has been paid.

Say in reply what shall be done.
