This CD-ROM contains the marriages of 1,889 couples starting in the year 1789 thru first week of January 1866 in Hawkins County, TN

We have tried to be as accurate as possible transcribing these marriages, however some of the names due to handwriting could be interpreted quite differently. The spelling of the last name in many cases was the inability of the Court Clerks.

All interested researchers should use this as a guide and look at the microfilm for additional clarification.
