Taylor Funeral Home, 1935-1958 (CD-ROM)

This new CD-ROM contains 464 burials records of the Taylor Funeral Home in Rogersville, TN Taylor Funeral Home was started by Jack Taylor in 1935 and was located on West Main Street. When Jack died in 1958, Mack & Irene Brooks copied down the date and name of the deceased person from these records. The original records were then given to Jack’s nephew. Since we cannot locate the original records, Haynes W. Alvis has attempted to compile a record of these burials from the Rogersville Review obituaries, Hawkins Co. Genealogical & Historical Society marriage books and cemetery books. Not all burials are complete but this is the best we could do.

As a bonus, we have included the records of 69 burials from the Miner Funeral Home that was located in Rogersville from April 1945 to July 1947.
