The Children of the American Revolution, or C.A.R., is a national organization established by Founder and First President, Harriett Mulford Lothrop, in 1895. Since that time they have continued to promote the ideals that Mrs. Lothrop held so dear. Some of C.A.R.'s objectives for our members are:

  • To acquire knowledge of American History
  • Preservation and restoration of places of historical importance associated with
  • the men, women and children who rendered service to the cause of the American Revolution.
  • To promote the celebration of patriotic anniversaries.
  • To honor and cherish the Flag of the United States of America above every other
  • flag.
  • To love, uphold, and extend the principles of American liberty and patriotism.
