When requesting lookups in any of the following please limit your request to one surname, person, etc. per e-mail. Put as much info as you can about the person and please be patient and I will try to respond a few days (depending on the volume of mail I receive in a particular week). I have recently purchased a reprint of Goodspeed's 1887 History of Johnson County Tennessee. I would be glad to do lookups in this book if any one wants them. It is a very small book - only 9 pages and the index. It covers Johnson County from late 1700s until 1884. There are several biographical sketches of early settlers of this area.	Marlene Avery
I have the full census book set from 1840-1920, plus marriages through 1920 and can do lookups. Also have the 1986 History of Johnson County, Fletcher's History of Ashe County, Ashe Co Heritage Vol 1, the Leonard Shoun book by Carl B. Neal. Most of my work is on the 3rd District, and have a comprehensive listing of the people in that district through 1870 including census mistakes that I can do lookups in.
