LOYSTON LAND TRACTS ACQUIRED BY TVAIn the 1930's the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) began a land acquisition project that acquired hundreds of acres for the Norris Dam Reservoir. During that period Loyston and the area surrounding the town was listed in District 4 of Union County. Below is a list of property owners, schools, and churches whose land was purchased by TVA. Property Owners are in Black, Schools are in Blue, and Churches are in Red business are in Green, cemeteries are in Purple. |
