Canister Hill, the son of Green Hill of Union County, was born 3-15-1842
and died 4-8-1932. He is buried at Mossy Springs Cemetery in Union County.
He claimed to have a vision that inspired the composition of this bit of
alphabetical verse. He sold copies at twenty-five cents each and the proceeds
provided him with chewing tobacco.
