THE HAFLEY FAMILY FROM PA TO TN

Cornelius Hafley born 1749 in Pennsylvania died Oct. 1806 and is buried
in Eusebia Presbyterian Churchyard in Blount Co. TN.  He was married
about 1775 in Snyder, PA to Mary Elizabeth Miser.  She was born 3-7-1755
in PA and died 9-7-1845.   She is buried alongside her husband.  Their
children were:

Elizabeth Lays
3.  Sarah Hafley married 1.  Morgan Edwards 2.  Jacob Waring
4.  Mary Hafley born 1776 in Perry, PA married on 9-6-1798 in Blount Co,
TN to Jonathan Legg.  Died 10-17-1864 and is buried in Leggtown
Cemetery, Kankakee Co, IL
5.  Elizabeth Hafley born 1-22-1777 in Perry married Meredith Webb, Sr.
in Blount Co. on 1-14-1794.  She died 7-20-1849.
6.  Catherine Hafley born about 1780 and married in Blount Co. to John
Shafer on 9-6-1796.
7.  John Hafley born 10-22-1782 and died 5-25-1858.  Buried Eusebia
Presbyterian churchyard in Blount County along with his wife Elizabeth
Kirkpatrick who was born 5-4-1803 and died 3-20-1845.  They were married
on 11-30-1837 in Blount Co.
8.  Cornelius Hafley, Jr. born 1783 and died after 1850 in St. Clair ,
Alabama.  His wife was named Phoebe.
9.  Jane Hafley born 12-21-1785 in Snyder, PA and died 12-1-1865.  She
was married to Samuel Legg on 11-17-1802 in Blount Co.
10  David Hafley born about 1789 in Blount Co. and died after 1850
possibly in Wayne Co, TN.  Married Martha (Patsy) Crenshaw on 4-4-1811.
11.  Margaret (Peggy) Hafley
12.  Frances (Fanny) Hafley
13.  Susannah Hafley born about 1796.  Married Gilbert Cruise 12-24-1816
in Knox Co, TN
14.  Barbara Hafley born about 1798 and married to James Wolf.
15.  Anna Hafley born 5-24-1800 in Blount Co. Died 5-12-1859 and buried
at New Hopewell in Knoxville.  Married about 1818 to James S. Johnson.

BART HAFLEY

Dates or spouse is unknown.  Had two children that I am aware of.  They
went by "Wash" & "Press".  Their names are:
1.  Washington (Wash) Hafley born 7-18-1859 and died 3-17-1929.  Buried
in Logan's Chapel Methodist cemetery.
2.  Pressley (Press) Hafley born 1874 and died 12-22-1928.  Buried
Logan's Chapel.  Married Lillie Adney on 5-5-1889.  She was born
11-3-1871 and died 7-15-1909 and is buried Logan's Chapel.

FRANKFORD WASHINGTON HAFLEY 11

No dates.  Married twice.  Do not know in which order.  If he had
children by Elizabeth Lays, they are not known to me.  He married Judith
Bedford who was born 1818 and died 1843.  Their children were:

1.  Harriett Hafely who was married to Houston Shaver on 12-20-1856.
2.  Winston Cornelius Hafely who was married to Harriett Jane Moser.
