Bloss, Thomas Jefferson, 77, passed away at his home here at an early hour Saturday after a lingering illness.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. (Cathern) Herman (Richard) Greene, Birmingham; Mrs.(Luvenia) George Pace, Norfolk; a son, Alb Bloss, Kensington, MD; five granddaughters, a grandson, one great-granddaughter and one great-grandson, four sisters and five brothers.
He was a member of the Holly Avenue Methodist Church.
Funeral from the church Sunday at 2:30 p.m., with the Revs. William E. Jelf, James Henley and C.R. Matlock
officiating.The body lay in state at the church from 1:45 p.m. until the hour of the funeral.
Pallbearers:
Milton Campbell, L. Honey, L. H. Cordell, Robert Crisp, V.A. Hackworth, Carl Padgett.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Men's Bible Class and
the board of stewards of the church.
Interment in Cumberland View Cemetery, with J.B. Rogers and Company in charge.
