Know all men by these presents that I, Wm. Onam F. McKee, do sell, sign, seal and deliver, unto Thomas Smith Sen. and certain piece of land lying and being in said County and State of Tennessee on the Southeast side of Sequetchee River adjoining the lands of G. H. Pryor and E. Duke, beginning on a small Post Oak on Dukes and Pryors land and runs South 10 poles to a stake on Dukes and McKees line; thence east 30 poles to a stake containing 2 acres be the same more or less to the said, Thomas Smith, his heirs or assigns forever for and in consideration of five dollars to me paid by the said Smith free from me, my heirs, I do sell all my rite, title and claim to said land is anyway to the said Smith and his heirs given under my hand and seal.

This the 12th day of April 1852.

    Personally appeared before me, James H. Consteer, Clerk of the County court of said County, Wm. F. McKees, the within bargainer with whom I am personally acquainted who acknowledged that he made and executed the within deed upon the day it bears date for the purposes the in contained.
