Train Wreck

This image was made around 1900, however, I don't know the exact year. The bridge was located across Lookout Creek at the foot of the Lookout Mountain at Chattanooga. It was a Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Railway bridge that collapsed when the train was crossing.
Update from Denny: I have a date for the bridge collapse picture ...... It was May 16, 1907. It is indeed over Lookout Creek at the foot of Lookout Mountain. There is some question however as to whether or not it was a N. C. & St. L. Railway train or a Southern. I have always heard that it was the Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Railway, but since their tracks and the Southern tracks are nearly side by side it is difficult to say for sure from the picture.
