The Marion County High School Class of 1953 are planning a reunion in 2003. Contact information will be posted shortly.
There will be ceremony at the Lasater Cemetery to mark the grave of Granville Brown, Civil War Veteran, with a Confederate marker on April 21, 2002, at 12:00 (noon) Jasper time. All are invited to attend.

Harris Lafayette & Permelia (WHITE) GRIFFITH The family gets together on the last Saturday in August at Jack's Lake in the Griffith Creek Community on Whitwell Mountain in Marion County, TN. Eat at 12:00 sharp. Bring lawn chair and your favorite dishes to share. Last year's reunion.

Rueben Franklin & Mary Lee (SWEETON) GREEN The family of Frank and Mary Green invites friends and family to join them on the 3rd Saturday of September of each year (15th of September 2001). It is held at the Whitwell Park in the main pavilion. Bring your favorite dish to share, your favorite pictures to show, your guitar to play (if you play). Come early for the conversation and pictures, eat at 12:00 sharp and stay late for the Gospel singing. Last years reunion.
Albert Lee & Maude Bell (TURNER) GRIFFITH The family of Albert and Maude Griffith invites friends and family to join them on the 3rd Sunday of September of each year (16th of September 2001). Last year's reunion.
PACK Family Reunion Pack Family Reunion will be held 30th September 2001, at the South Cumberland State Park in Monteagle, Tennessee. Bring your lunch and visit awhile.

DYE Family Reunion The 4th Dye Family Reunion will be held on Saturday, 6 October 2001, at the Old Grandview Elementary School on Wasson Memorial Hwy, beginning around 10:00 AM. Grandview, TN. (Hwy 68 off 27 going toward Dayton, TN. Every one is asked to bring enough food for their family. Plates, silverware, cups, napkins, and ice will be furnished. BURNETT/BURNETTE Reunion The Burnett/Burnette Reunion will be Saturday, October 6th, 2001 at Kimball Park, Kimball, TN. Start around 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
HIXSON/HIXON Reunion The Hixson/Hixon Reunion will be held at the Hixson United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 13th, 2001. Visiting begins at 11:00 AM and covered dish at 1:00 PM. Music by Ken Harrison. Pictures, books, and other historical items from the Hixson/Hixon Family, available for display, are welcome.
