Ruby Roberts Blankenship, age 96, a resident of Knollwood Manor in Lafayette, TN were conducted Sunday afternoon, February 6, 2005 from the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Dean Dyer officiating. Honorary pallbearers were her grandson, great-grandsons and great-great-grandsons. Active pallbearers were her great-grandsons. Interment followed in the Macon County Memorial Gardens.  Ruby Roberts Blankenship passed away Thursday afternoon, February 3, 2005 at Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette.  A native of Macon County, TN, she was the daughter of the Elmore and Lourana Russell Roberts. On January 29, 1926, she was married to Odell Blankenship, who preceded her in death on March 26, 1978. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Amy Gregory, Mary Dyer, Millie, Roxey and Rosie Roberts; brothers, Herman, Henry, Charlie, Thomas, Bennie and William Roberts. She was a homemaker and member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.  Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mizell and Lloyd Driver, Lafayette; sons, James Blankenship, Lafayette, Joe Blankenship, Gallatin; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.  Arrangements by Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home, Lafayette, TN.

Theresa Copass Bokanizad, age 53, of Burbank, CA, formerly of Clay County, TN, were conducted on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Jimmy Cook officiating. Her family and friends served as Pallbearers. Interment was in the Clementsville Cemetery.  Theresa Bokanizad passed away Thursday morning, January 27, 2005 at the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA.  A native of Clay County, TN, she was the daughter of Hulen and Imogene York Copass, Sr. She was preceded in death by her brother, Hulen Copass, Jr. She was married to Reza Bozanizad, who survives. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Clementsville Church of Christ.  Survivors besides her husband include: sisters; Clarice (Bud) Smith, Fayetteville, TN, Janice Kennedy (David Keith), North Springs, TN, Priscilla (Harlan) White, Red Boiling Springs, TN, Linda (Butch) Pugh, and Vicki (Jimmy) Adams all of Lafayette, TN, brother; Bobby (Deborah) Copass, Smyrna, TN.  Arrangements by the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home, Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Leck Davis, age 90, of the Mount Vernon Community, were conducted Sunday, February 6, 2005, 2 p.m. from the chapel of Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Kirk Dodson and Keith McDonald officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Roger Roark, Jeff Roark, William Ritter, Winford Ritter, Russell Bean, Keith McDonald, Justin Bean and Eward Bean. Active pallbearers were Phillip Copass, Curtis Pitcock, Doug McDonald, Dale Copass, Michael McDonald and Omar Malik. Interment followed in Mount Vernon Cemetery.  Leck Davis passed away Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005 at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN.  A native of Clay County, TN, he was the son of the late William Bedford and Cora Bell Davis. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Jewell Bean and Thelma Ritter; and a brother, Arthur Davis. On April 7, 1947, he was married to Alma Josephine Huffines, who survives. He was a retired farmer and member of Milestown Church of Christ.  Survivors besides his wife include daughter, Cathy (Gulrez) Malik of Denver, CO; brother, Ether (Hazel) Davis of Indianapolis, IN; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.  Arrangements by Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home, Red Boiling Springs, TN.

Mr. Bradley Huffines, age 77, of the Wartrace Community, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005 at Cookeville Regional Hospital of heart failure.  Services were conducted from the Hackett Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb. 3, by Bro. Chris Reagan and Bro. Kenneth Clayton. Burial following the 1:00 p.m. services was in the Draper Cemetery in the Wartrace Community.  Born Bradley Carl Huffines on Dec. 5, 1927, he was the only son of the late Fount Smith and Bessie Etta Hunter Huffines.  On Dec. 6, 1947 in Catoosa, GA, he was married to the former Agnes Pauline Williams of the Little Salt Lick Community. He was a farmer and was retired in 1993 from the Joe Rich Lumber Co. in Macon County. He had worked there for over sixteen years. He was a member of Wartrace United Methodist Church for over 63 years.  Surviving in addition to his wife of 57 years is a daughter, Ruthie Cross and husband Gary of Wartract and two grandchildren.  Sanderson of Kempville, directors.

Mr. Cy Huntsman, age 21, of Pleasant Grove Rd. in Westmoreland, TN, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2005.  Funeral services were held on February 10, 2005 at 2 p.m. from the Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home. Interment was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Audie Hale, Benny Sullivan, Tony Blackwell, Josh Huntsman, Phillip Abel, Heath Counts, Ronnie Presley, and Jimmy Smith.  Cy Huntsman was the son of the late Charles R. Huntsman and Ziona Huntsman of Westmore-land. He was united in marriage to Ashley Bell Huntsman of Westmoreland. He was employed with Dearfoam Manufacturing.  Besides his mother and wife, he is survived by a daughter, McKenzie Huntsman of Westmoreland; a brother, Charlie Huntsman of Westmoreland; grandparents James and May Huntsman of Westmoreland and William Wallace of Hawaii.  Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home, Westmoreland, TN, in charge of arrangements.

Decatur Law, age 79, of the Rocky Mound Community in Macon County, TN, were conducted Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005, 4 p.m. from the chapel of Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Dennis Ballard officiating. Pallbearers were Donald Doss, James Law, Ricky Law, Donald Law, Erik Knight, Sandy Knight. Interment was in Macon County Memorial Gardens.  Decatur Law passed away Friday, Feb. 4, 2005 at Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette.  A native of Macon County, TN, he was the son of the late Irvin and Hattie Bohanon Law. He was preceded in death by his brother, Cortez Law. On April 20, 1984, he was married to the former Geneva Howser Knight, who survives. He was a farmer and member of Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ.  Survivors besides his wife include: step-daughter, Cynthia (Elder Ricky) Holland, Red Boiling Springs; step-sons, Danny (Mildred) Knight, Sandy (Lynn) Knight, all of Westmore-land; two step-granddaughters, three step-grandsons, three step-great-grandchildren.  Arrangements by Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home, Lafayette.

Sandra Kay Lowhorn Lynn, age 50, of 209 Patterson Road, Lafayette, TN, were conducted on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Jerry Mercer officiating. Her nephews served as pallbearers. Interment was in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.  Sandra Kay Lowhorn Lynn passed away Sunday evening, January 30, 2005 at the Sumner County Medical Center in Gallatin, TN.  A native of Macon County, TN, she was the daughter of Dessie Mae Thrasher Lowhorn of Lafayette and the late Johnnie Howard Lowhorn. She was an Inspector at Measure-Up, Inc. in Lafayette and a member of the Lafayette Church of Christ.  Survivors besides her mother include: daughter, Cynthia (Matthew) Zareel, Brownsville, TN; sons, Scott Lynn, Lebanon, TN, Jamie Lynn, Lafayette, TN; two grandchildren; sisters, Shirley (David) Sewell, Margaret (J.C.) Janice Petty, 87, of 616 Woodland Circle, Scottsville, KY, died Friday, February 4, 2005 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Barren Co., KY native was a retired employee of Dollar General Warehouse and member of Durham Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late James Burton Atwood and Bertha Oliphant Atwood and wife of the late Hubert Petty.  She is survived by one son, Phillip, and wife Charlotte Petty of Scottsville; two daughters, Benita Chandler, Doris and husband, Charles Wagoner, all of Scottsville, KY; three brothers, Billy Atwood, Paul Atwood and Ora Atwood, all of Scottsville; three sisters, Barbara Rascoe and Lou Welch, both of Scottsville, Patty Reneau of Glasgow, KY; four grandchildren - one local, Stacy Frye, Lafayette; two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson.  She was preceded in death by three brothers, James Earl Atwood, Willard Atwood and J.D. Atwood; and one sister, Mildred Owens.  Funeral services for Janice Petty were conducted Sunday, Feb. 6, 2005, 2 p.m. at Goad Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Pruitt and Rev. Nathan Richards officiating. Burial was in Crescent Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Evelyn Smith, age78, of Old Hwy. 31E, Westmoreland, TN, passed away Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005.  Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, 2 p.m. at Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home in Westmoreland, officiated by Bro. Guthrie Gregory. Burial was in Bethpage Cemetery.  She was the daughter of the late Lon Williams and Lillie Story Williams. She was married to the late J.L. Smith.  Survivors include two sons, Tony (Joan) Smith, Jerry (Cindy) Smith, all of Westmoreland; two daughters, Marie (John) Horrbach and Kendra (Ronnie) Kemp, all of Lafayette; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Smith. Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home in Westmoreland was in charge of arrangements.

Wayne Stafford, age 58, of the Brattontown Community in Lafayette were conducted Saturday afternoon, February 5, 2005 at Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Jerry Mercer and Roger Robertson officiating. Pallbearers were Danny Parrish, Fred Heath, Charlie Carter, Jamie McKinney, Adam Carter, Larry Lynn Stafford, Richie Cherry and Joe Parrish. Interment was in Anderson & Son Memorial Park.  Wayne Stafford passed away Thursday, February 3, 2005 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN.  A native of Jackson County, TN, he was the son of Elmer Carr Stafford of Red Boiling Springs and the late Pauline Atkins Stafford. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Scotty and Tony Stafford. On October 23, 1967, he was married to the former Wanda Gail Reeves, who survives. He was a truck driver for Area Trucking out of Chicago, IL and a member of Lafayette Church of Christ.  Survivors besides his wife and father include daughters, Leslie (Mitch) Gooslby, Camilla Stafford, all of Lafayette, Delana Stafford, Hartsville; son, Larry Lynn Stafford, Lafayette; sister, Sherry Jenkins; brothers, Earl (Rulene) Stafford, all of Lafayette, Dennis & Ricky Stafford, Red Boiling Springs; and five grandchildren.  Arrangements by Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home, Lafayette, TN.

Patricia Jane Stinson, age 51, of 1254 Old Glasgow Road, Scottsville, KY, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2005 at the Medical Center in Scottsville, KY. The Allen County, KY native was a former employee of A.O. Smith, a homemaker and member of Abounding Grace Ministries, Abounding Grace Women's Ministry and Song Ministry. She was a daughter of the late Virgil Kelly Pardue and Janie Ruth Sloan Pardue.  She is survived by her husband, Paul D. Stinson, Scottsville, KY; one son, Jason Dwayne Stinson, Scottsville, KY; one brother, Gordon Scruggs, Scottsville. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Pardue and Archie Scruggs.  Funeral services for Patricia Jane Stinson were conducted Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005 at Goad Funeral home with Bro. Elvis Farley and Bro. Joe Shockley officiating. Burial was in Crescent Hill Cemetery. 

Jocie Mae Swindle, 94, a resident of The Palace in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2005 at The Palace. The Allen County, Kentucky native was born Wednesday, October 5, 1910, a daughter of the late Jim Combs and Mazie Gumm Combs. She was a homemaker, a member of Akersville Baptist Church, and wife of the late Leo Swindle.  She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Wayne Bray, Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee; a son and daughter-in-law, J. L. and Shirley Swindle, Scottsville, KY; 3 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren and 2 step-great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Junior Thompson Swindle, a daughter, Marjorie Swindle, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.  Funeral services for Jocie Mae Swindle were conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 6, 2005 at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home in Lafayette, Tennessee with Eld. G. W. Knight officiating. Burial was in Haysville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Steven Cantrell, Derrick Cantrell, Justin Swindle, David Grimes, Danny Grimes, and Jimmy Driver.  Alexander-Goad Funeral Home in Lafayette, Tennessee was in charge of arrangements.
