Kenneth Bargo, 67, of Sevierville, TN, formerly of Westmoreland, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2005. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 26, 2005, 1 p.m. at New Hope Church in Westmoreland conducted by Pastor Jeff Brooks, Bro. Al Sherrod and Dr. Clinton L. Branine. Interment was in New Hope Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Coley, Anthony Coley, Don Wilkerson and Rich Roth; active pallbearers were Frank Coley, Rex Troutt, Max Sherrell, Ike Flanagan, Stan Raines, Ken Lassiter, Ricky Coley and Jerry Coley. He was the son of the late Edward Bargo and Etta Garland. He was married to Barbara Coley Bargo of Sevierville, who survives. He was retired from Herff Jones Company in Indianapolis after 40 years of service and was a member of First Baptist Church in Pigeon Forge, TN. He is survived by a grandson, Derrick Kenneth Howard, Speedwell, TN; daughter, Denise Ann (Donnie) Howard, Speedwell; three brothers, Bill Bargo of Gatlinburg, Sam Bargo and Dan Bargo, both of Anderson, IN; sisters, Judy Bargo & Diane Lloyd, Anderson, IN, Dee Campbell, Indianapolis, IN, Betty Gilbert, St. Petersburg, FL; one grandchild. Martha Coley, 63, of Akersville Road, Lafayette, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2005 at her residence. The Monroe County, Kentucky native was born Sunday, September 28, 1941, a daughter of the late Farris Bowman and Eva Rasner Bowman. She was a homemaker and member of Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Connie Coley, of Lafayette, TN; a daughter, Tracy Coley, Cookeville, TN; 2 grandchildren, Jedediah Coley and Calamity Jane Coley, both of Lafayette, TN; 2 sisters, Lucille Burnett, Fountain Run, KY; and Carole Billingsley, Indianapolis, IN; 2 brothers, Benny Bowman, Georgetown, KY; and Benton Earl Bowman, Euless, Texas. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Clarice Parish. Funeral services for Lovena Babbitt Copas, age 88, of Hermitage Springs Community in Clay County, were conducted Friday, March 25, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Dewayne Fox officiating. Pallbearers were Parrish Wright, Shannon Wright, Sgt. Jubal Shane Wright, Tracy Bartley, Terry Copas, Chris Copas and Jason Copas. Interment followed in Hermitage Springs Cemetery. Lovena Copas passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette. A native of Ohio County, KY, she was the daughter of the late John William and Elmina Wells Babbitt. She married Everett Guy Copas on August 1, 1936, who preceded her in death on August 18, 1992. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rachel Wright. Survivors include daughters, Reba Copas, Shirley (Ray) West, Thelma Bartley, all of the Hermitage Springs Community; sons, Ronald Copas, Mt. Juliet, TN, Donald (Roberta) Copas, Tony Copas and son-in-law, Garth Wright, all of Hermitage Springs; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Graveside services for Edna Davis, age 86, of The Palace in Red Boiling Springs, were conducted Friday, March 25, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. from the Smith Chapel Cemetery with Elder Floyd Ferguson officiating. Her family and friends served as pallbearers. Mrs. Davis passed away Thursday afternoon, March 24, 2005 at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs. A native of Macon County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Carlos and Allie Owen Davis. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Educaton and a minor in Art from Western Kentucky Unversity. She was an employee with the Tennessee Teachers Association and a member of Red Boiling Springs First Baptist Church. Survivors include several cousins. Funeral services for Lois Doss Deckard, age 86, of the Winklers Community in Macon County, TN, were conducted Monday, March 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs with Elder J.E. Shoulders and Elder Jeremy Yokley officiating. Pallbearers were Shane Pippin, Chuck Jordan, Donnie Crawford, Ronnie Hix, Carl Blankenship and Jerry Yokley. Interment followed in Enon Cemetery. Mrs. Deckard passed away Saturday evening, March 26, 2005 at The Palace in Red Boiling Springs, TN. A native of Macon County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Amy Doss. On December 17, 1942, she married Dumus Deckard, who preceded her in death on April 1, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Elise Welch. She was a homemaker, babysitter and a member of Enon Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter, Sue (Roger) Hix; granddaughter, Ann (Dale) Long; great-grandson, Seth Long, all of Glasgow, KY. Georgia Dillard, 71, of Lafayette, and a resident of The Palace in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, passed away Friday evening at Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette. The Macon County, Tennessee native was born Monday, February 26, 1934 a daughter of the late Lester Dillard and Fannie Whittemore Dillard. She was a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church and a retired secretary/receptionist. She is survived by a daughter, Betty Carr; two grandchildren, Chris Carr and Katrina Harris; and a great-grandson, all of Lafayette, TN; 2 half sisters, Irene Gass, of Lafayette, TN; and Lydia Huntsman, of Westmoreland, TN; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Georgia Dillard were conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 27, 2005 at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home Chapel with Eld. James Ray Lawson officiating. James Doss, age 70, of Pleasant Grove Road, Westmore-land, TN, passed away Friday, March 25, 2005. Funeral services were held Monday, March 28 at Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home in Westmoreland, conducted by Bro. James Sadler. Interment was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. He was the son of the late Earnest Doss and Mossie Harper. He was married to Marjorie Doss, who also preceded him in death. He was retired from the Sumner County Board of Education Maintenance Dept. Survivors include a son, Jamie (Paula) Doss, Westmoreland; a daughter, Beverly (Kevin) Sadler, Westmoreland; a brother, Robert Doss, Scottsville, KY; a sister, Clara Ruth McNeese of Huntsville, AL; one grandchild. Walt Gunter, Sr., 73, of Ferguson Hill Road, Lafayette, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2005 at his residence. The Graham County, North Carolina native was born Sunday, October 18, 1931, a son of the late Wayne D. Gunter and Flora Brown Gunter Millsaps. He was a member of Franklin Grove Baptist Church, a Mason, Shriner, a member of the Scottish Rite, and a retired construction supervisor for T.V.A. On November 24, 1983, he was united in marriage to Della Petty Gunter. He married the former Judy Ford who survives. He was preceded in death by daughters Candice and Jamie LaGrand, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. He was disabled. Dimple Dean Ballard Leath, age 72, of Hwy. 52 West, Lafayette, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2005. Funeral services were held Friday, March 25, 11 a.m., at Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Lonnie Meador officiating. Burial was in Sumner Memorial Gardens in Gallatin. Virginia Frances Lukow, age 76, of Clermont passed away on Friday, March 25, 2005 at Orlando Regional Medical Center from complications following surgery. She was born December 26, 1928 in Willette, Tennessee daughter of Radford Willard & Rena Frances Donoho. She was a graduate of Red Boiling Springs High School. After snow birding to Florida for a number of years she and her husband located to Clermont permanently three years ago from Berwyn, Illinois. She was a homemaker & a member of Red Hat Society & Ladies Club at Emerald Lakes. Surviving are her husband August "Red" Lukow; sons August Lukow, Jr. & wife Janet & their daughter Robyn Anne of Hudsonville, Michigan & Robert James Lukow & wife Noreen and children Amber Rochelle & Robert, Jr. of Melbourne Shores, FL; brother Peyton Donald Donoho & wife Quintilla of Waverly, TN & loving niece Ruth Ann Ragland and husband Mack of Longwood, FL. Meadows officiating. Sina Pettett passed away Monday, March 21, 2005 at Comprehensive Care Center in Hartsville. A native of Smith County, she was the daughter of the late John and Callie Butler Ray of the Defeated Creek Community. Sina worked as a waitress at the Hotel Dupont Plaza on Dupont Circle in Washington, D.C. Darl Leroy Powell, 69, of Portland, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2005 at Tennessee Christian Medical Center in Portland. He was born Wednesday, January 1, 1936, in Marion, Indiana, a son of the late Glen Todd Powell and Cledith Garwood Powell. He was a retired truck driver and an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Sheppard Powell, Portland, TN; 4 daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Randy Lee, Fairmount, IN; Vickie and Todd Vetor, Jonesboro, IN; Michelle and Jim Wolford, Huntington, IN; Dione and Michael Winslow, of Florida; 6 sons and 4 daughters-in-law, Tony Powell, of Michigan; Scott and Lapellya Powell, Joseph Plouffe, Glen and Billie Jo Powell, all of Portland, TN; Robert and Pamela Powell, Fairmount, IN; Christopher and Crystal Powell, Westmoreland, TN; 31 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. A native of Madison, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Z.W. and Elsie Davis Cody. She was married to Porter Ramsey, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Dollie Hoyle, Letha Norton, Lola Pack, Minnie Carter, Florence Horton, Leona Hensley; and brother, Fred Cody. Emily J. Tuttle, age 94, of Haze Hyde Road, Bethpage, TN, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2005. Dorothy Holland Walton, 78, of Lafayette, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2005 at Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette. The Allen County, Kentucky native was born Sunday, December 5, 1926, the daughter of the late Henry Holland and Lorell Durham Holland. She was a homemaker and bookkeeper for Walton's Carpet. She was united in marriage on April 19, 1965 to Ed Walton, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Ed Walton, Jr.; a son and daughter-in-law, William Edward and Kim Walton, all of Lafayette, TN; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Harold Holland and Leslie Holland. She was born Tuesday, August 6, 1968 in Knox County, Tennessee, was a clerical sales worker, a member of Haysville Missionary Baptist Church, and Lafayette Chapter 379 Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by a son, Zachary Williams, Red Boiling Springs, TN; her mother and step-father, Jane and Melvin Bray, Lafayette, TN; her father and step-mother, Terry and Dianna Gann, Red Boiling Springs, TN; her paternal grandmother, Lorell Gann, Lafayette, TN; 2 brothers, Scott Gann, Red Boiling Springs, TN; and Danny W.
