Marvin Ewing Anderson, age 79, of South 12th Street, Nashville, passed away October 30, 2005. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at the Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Curtis officiating. Interment was in the Eulia Cemetery.  Mr. Anderson was retired from Waverly Transfer Corp., a member of Woodbine Baptist Church, and was a WWII Army Veteran.  He was the son of the late Andrew Anderson and the late Lillie Crutcher. He was united in marriage to the late Maggie Cook Anderson.  He is survived by sons, Richard Wayne Anderson and George Andrew (Renee) Anderson, both of Nashville, and Marvin Eugene Anderson, Jr., of Murfreesboro; step-daughters, Joyce Cook of Murfreesboro and Brenda Yankowski of Ohio; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services for Robert Boyd, age 70, of Westmoreland, and formerly of Lafayette, TN, were conducted Monday, October 31, 2005 t 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Brother Steve Waller officiating. Interment followed in the Anderson & Son Memorial Park.  Robert passed away Saturday morning, October 29, 2005 at Alvin C. York Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN.  A native of West Virginia, he was the son of the late Emmett & Carrie Crawford Boyd. He was married to Barbara See Boyd on May 9, 1962 who survives. He was a member of the Kempville Old Time Methodist Church in Smith County, TN. He was an employee with G.F. Office Furniture in Gallatin and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Survivors besides his wife of 43 years includes daughters, Ronda (Mike) Rose, Gallatin, TN, Carrie (Champ) Daniels, Fountain Run, KY; sons, Frank Boyd, Seattle, WA, Randy (Karen) Heath, Hartsville, TN, Mike Boyd, Lafayette, TN; sisters, Juanita (Bob) Woods, Lafayette, TN, Irene Boyd, Lafayette, TN; brothers, Fred (Shirley) Boyd, Centerburg, OH, John (Dorothy) Boyd, CA, Larry (Barb) Boyd, Heath, OH, Carl (Millie) Boyd, Lafayette, TN; granddaughter, Ashley Boyd; grandsons, Brandon Goad, Andy Goad, and Allen Rose.  Arrangements by the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home, Lafayette, TN.

Trinity Deshae Bullington, age 15, of Hauskins Road in Westmoreland, passed away Monday, October 24, 2005. Visitation was held Tuesday, October 25 from 6 - 9 p.m., Wednesday, October 26 from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m., and from 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday, October 27. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. at the Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Dean Dyer and Bro. Rodney Carter officiating. Interment was in the Eulia Cemetery. Trinity Deshae is survived by her father, Jeffery Neal Bullington of Gallatin and her mother, Angela Haskins of Westmoreland. Other survivors are maternal grandparents: Jill Hinton of Scottsville, KY and Larry and Rita Haskins of Westmoreland; paternal grandmother: Hazel Bullington of Gallatin; brother: Christopher Lewis Bullington of Westmoreland; sister: Hannah Nicole Marie Haskins of Westmoreland.  Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home in Westmoreland, TN in charge of arrangements.

Mark Jason Dorton, 21, of Lafayette, Tennessee, was pronounced dead on arrival Sunday, October 30, 2005 at Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, TN from injuries in an automobile accident on Akersville Road. The Davidson County, Tennessee native was a factory worker and attended Grace Baptist Church.  He is survived by his wife, Trenia Stewart; a daughter, Caleigh Nicole Dorton; his mother and step-father, Sheila and Tony Gammons, all of Lafayette, TN; his father, Keith Smith, Nashville, TN; a sister, Tori Adams, Lafayette, TN; his maternal grandfather, Tommy Dorton, Vanleer, TN; and his maternal great-grandmother, Lorene Dorton, Ashland City, TN.  Funeral services for Mark Jason Dorton will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at Alexander-Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Wix officiating. Burial will be in Pirtle Cemetery. Katherine Rose Wix, 91, of Scottsville, Kentucky, and formerly of Macon County, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2005 at her daughter's residence in Scottsville, Kentucky. The Macon County, Tennessee native was born Thursday, August 20, 1914, a daughter of the late Ed Freeman and Maggie Moss Freeman. She was one of the oldest members of Millers Chapel General Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was united in marriage to Bailey Wix, who preceded her in death on July 3, 1972.  She is survived by 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Cassie and Roy Turner; Clara and Bill Mahaney, all of Scottsville, KY; Ann and Louis Wolfe, Westmoreland, TN; 6 sons and 5 daughters-in-law, Hollis Wix, of the Rocky Mound Community; Murl and Norma Wix, of the Wixtown Community; Jerry and Bonnie Wix, Lafayette, TN; Harold and Joyce Wix, Danny and Linda Wix, Kenneth and Shelia Wix, all of Westmoreland, TN; 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by 5 brothers, Bob, Bernice, Taft, Buster, and James Freeman, 3 sisters, Ida Hire, Minnie Carver, and Viola Blankenship, and three grandchildren.  Funeral services for Katherine Rose Wix were conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at Millers Chapel General Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Scruggs and Rev. Harold King officiating. Burial was in Shrum Cemetery. Donald Wayne Gilliam, age 69, of New Hwy. 31E, Westmoreland, TN, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2005. Visitation was from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Tuesday, November 1 and from 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday. Services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 2 at the Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Graves officiating. Interment followed in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers were David Gilliam, Thomas Graves, Howard Black, Jerry Brown, Billy Joe Ferrell, and Eddie Ferrell.  Mr. Gilliam was retired from Motorola and served in the US Air Force. He was the son of the late Erskine Gilliam and Fervie Gilliam of Westmoreland.  Besides his mother, he is survived by son, Dave Gilliam of Lebanon, TN; daughter, Julie Burnett of Westland, Michigan; step-daughter, Patricia Stavron of Wayne, Michigan; grandchildren, Angelina Ruth Gilliam and Colby Gilliam, both of Lebanon, and two step-grandchildren. Funeral services for Ola White Johnson Kellough, age 87, of 633 Stevens Circle in Lafayette, TN, and formally of Norfolk, Virginia were conducted on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. from the Lafayette Church of God with Pastor Clifford Waters officiating. Interment followed Friday, October 28, 2005 in the Riverside Cemetery in Norfolk, Virginia.  Mrs. Kellough passed away Tuesday morning, October 25, 2005 at her residence in Lafayette, TN.  A native of Bertie County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Woody S. & Eva Mae Matthews White. She was married to Reverend James E. Johnson, Sr. who preceded her in death and later to William L. Kellough wo also preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sons, James E. Johnson, Jr. and Will Rogers Johnson, a daughter, Ellen D. Lohr, three sisters and two brothers. She was a dietitian retired from the Virginia School Board with 16 years of service. She attended the Lafayette Church of God.  Survivors include daughters, Esther White, Gwendolyn C. Woodruff, Eva Mae Latham (Chris) of Lafayette, TN, and Mary E. Schrecengost of Westmoreland, TN; sister, Nonie L. Harris of Aulander, North Carolina; 22 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.  Arrangements by the Phillip Anderson & Son Funeral Home, Lafayette, TN.

Mrs. Georgia Hall Ramsey of Carthage was pronounced dead on arrival at 9:25 a.m. Saturday morning, October 29, 2005 at the Carthage General Hospital. She was found dead at her home earlier that morning by a niece. Mrs. Ramsey was 86.  Funeral services were conducted from the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home by her pastor, Eld. James “Pee Wee” Massey and Eld. Charles Allen Gentry. Burial following the 1:00 p.m. Tuesday services was in the Union Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery at Sykes.  Born Georgia Agnes Culbreath on July 13, 1919 in the Beasleys Bend Community, she was the last surviving of five children of the late Eddie Lee and Hettie Foutch Culbreath.  Siblings preceding her in death were: Johnny Clifton Culbreath on April 20, 1990, Hubert Culbreath, Sr. on April 9, 1995, Lizzie Mai Harper on November 19, 1998, and Catherine Owens on March 18, 1999.  Mrs. Ramsey was first married to Levi Hall who died November 26, 1958 and later married Alfred Ramsey, who preceded her in death on October 26, 1988. Mrs. Ramsey’s only child, a son, Johnny Ray Hall, died August 3, 1968 at the age of 9. Mrs. Ramsey was a retired waitress and was a longtime employee of Tucker Sausage Co. in Lebanon. She was a longtime member of the South Carthage Missionary Baptist Church.  Her only survivors are several nieces and nephews.

Isaac Lewis Sadler, infant, passed away Friday, October 28, 2005 at Bledsoe Street in Westmoreland. Graveside services were held Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at 2 p.m. Interment was in Sadler Cemetery.  Isaac Lewis Sadler is survived by his parents, Brandon Sadler and Toni Hutchens Sadler of Westmoreland. He is also survived by his grandparents: Derrick and Rebecca Sadler of Westmoreland, Jennifer and Lloyd Taylor of Gallatin, and Renea Wright of Westmoreland; great grandparents: James and Wanda Sadler of Westmoreland; and sister: Hailey Marie Sadler of Westmoreland.  Anderson & Woodard Funeral Home in Westmoreland in charge of arrangements.
