Membership Form
An invitation is extended to everyone to become a member of our organization.
We have approximately 300 members from coast to coast. Dues are $12.50 per year
(renewable in January). Listed below are some of the benefits to being a member
of the Macon County Historical Society.
 | A quarterly newsletter, where members can submit up to four queries per
year to run three times in alternate newsletters. The newsletter contains
various information, with one general subject each quarter. |
| A 10% discount on all books published by the society after January 1, 1997
(excluding Reprints and the Macon County Family History Book). |
| A discount on cemetery markers. |
| A Discount on metal signs to designate lost cemeteries, noted historical
sites, burial or home place of a war veteran, etc. |
A monthly meeting is held on the first Saturday of every month at 9:00 a.m.
at the Ambulance Service, in Lafayette, TN. Although attendance is not a
requirement all members and the general public are invited to attend.
