This is a  picture of Bill Longley,  believed to be taken October 11, 1878, the day he was hung in Giddings, Texas for the murder of Wilson Anderson, who the Longley family believed was responsible for the death
of "Little Cale" or Caleb Longley Jr., Bill's first cousin.
