RE: BUFORD PUSSER #50 LICENSE PLATE REPLICA

I am searching hard for a Buford Pusser license plate #50 Tennessee license white with back letters like the one he had on his sheriff's car. One of the originals would be great with proof, but a replica is fine.I know that they had replica's at one time. I would like to purchase one and anything that is very unsual as far as some of his memorabilia. Thanks

CLARY

I am researching my husband's family history. His GreatGrandFather was William Jordan Clary born 1842 and died 1900 in McNairy co. Tenn. He was married three times but I only know the names of the last two wives Nancy A. Wardlaw Kenington (a widow with a son Authur Dan Kenington) and Mary Wood also a widow. CHOATE

Looking for information on Revolutionary War soldier Christopher Choate. He was born Jan. 1, 1750 in Virgina and died 1833 in McNairy County, Tennessee. He held a private's rank and was a prisoner of war. He was married to Prudence ____? Surname unknown. I descend from Christopher's son, Aaron Choate.

HENDERSON, TODD

Would like to locate the grave of my gg grandmother, Margaret Isabella Henderson, wife of William Ramsey Henderson, who died in McNairy Co in the early 1840's. She was Margaret Isabella Todd, daughter of Hugh and Narcissus Rogers Todd of Carroll County, TN. Her grave is probably in an isolated plot on land owned by the young couple when Margaret died during the birth of her second daughter. William "Bill" Henderson, with his two baby daughters, returned to his parents' plantation in Dyer County. Would appreciate help from anyone who has access to grave and cemetery records of McNairy Co.

ROGERS, CROW, MINCY

I am looking for information on Levi Fletcher ROGERS, b. 1880 (est.) in McNairy County, TN. He married Fannie Lee CROW in 1902. They had several children: Velma (m. Richard Baxter Blair); Bonnie (m. L.A. Woodward); Myrtle (m. ? Scott); and Hoyt. Levi's parents are Levi Braxton ROGERS and Nancy Ann MINCY. Fannie Lee CROW was born 23 August 1880 in Carrollton, Tate County, MS. Levi Fletcher and Fannie Lee are buried in Greenleaf Cemetery,Tate Co., MS. Thanks for any assistance!

HILLIN, HILLIAN, HILLEN, HILLION

Jesse Hillin, Hillion, Hillen, HIllian married Jane BURNS probably abt 1819 in Lawrence Co, TN. Other records indicate they may have lived in McNairy or have been born there. They had 4 children, 1-Mary born abt 1821 who married (husband surname unknown)and had a child and Mary died bef 1858, 2-Absolom Hillin born abt 1822, 3-John Hillin born abt 1825 and 4-Elizabeth born abt 1825 and died probably in Lawrence Co TN before 1858. Jesse HILLIN/etc moved to Jackson/Marshall Co AL prior to 1830 and married a Malinda. Jesse and sons Absolom and John moved to Panola Co, TX in the 1840s. They may have also lived in McNairy Co TN and Mary may have died there. Would like to share information with anyone interested in the HILLIN/etc surname. Please contact me at jverett@webzone.net.

KILPATRICK, JAMES PRESSLEY

JAMES P. KILPATRICK (1822/1888) and wife CAROLINA AMANDA (1832/1888) are listed in a MCNairy Co. cemetery book as being buried at Sulphur Springs cemetery. Another different listing does not mention that the graves are there. I wondered if anyone reading this lives near the Sulphur Springs cemetery and could verify that they are buried there.

Ernest PIPKINS m. Verble MORROW. Both are deceased & buried in a cemetery on Chewalla(?) Rd just outside Ramer, McNairy Co, TN. Verble had a brother Clyde and a sister Vergie(?). Ernest siblings were Mable and at least one brother.
