NOTICE is hereby given that in January 1791, there came to the plantation of Benjamin Cox, now deceased, a small brown mare. She had but one eye, no other particular mark recollected, where she died, and left a colt, which said Cox wintered. After the decease of Benjamin Cox, the subscriber, brother to the said Benjain, took the colt into his possession, and fed it during the winter. The owner is requested to come and prove his property, pay all reasonable expenses, and take it away.
Hawkins, June 4, 1792 Herman Cox
