When setting criteria for the selection of inductees into a Lynn View High School Sports Hall Of Fame, every effort has been made to remove any vestige of favoritism from the process.
     A committee of eleven athletes representing each decade of Lynn View's existence was chosen.  This committee then developed a numerical system to award points based on athletic achievements during the athlete's tenure at Lynn View.  
     The point totals were then accumulated and the top 12, plus ties, were chosen for the initial induction for each decade.  After the initial inductions have been completed, the committee plans to revisit each decade for additional inductees.
     The point system is as follows:
