Following is a transcription of the above person's (TN) obituary from the Dickson
County Herald dated 16 Apr. 1937:
"Caroline Frasher Dudley was born March 11, 1866; died April
6, 1937--making her stay on earth 71 years and 26 days.
She was married to Jerome Dudley on March 8, 1888, and to this
union was born five children, all of whom survive.
The deceased united with the Primitive Baptist Church on the
first Sunday in June, 1890, and was baptized by Brother Hatcher. She remained a
faithful member until the end.
Funeral services were held at the Bethel church Tuesday, April 6,
conducted by Elder J. A. Pope, and burial was in the Frasher cemetery.
Survivors are her husband, Jerome Dudley; one son, Willie Dudley,
and four daughters, Arizona and Gurtha Dudley; Mrs. Earl Anderson and Mrs. E. B. Harbison;
also one sister, Mrs. Agnes McCord, and four brothers, Morgan, Andy, Jeff and Alebrt
Frazier."
