Aunt Ellen DILLARD.
The passing of Ellen DILLARD at her home on Trigg street, November 30, removed a most
worthy representative of her race. To white and black she was known as "Mammy
Ellen" and her life had been one of industry and devotion to duty. Capable,
willing and dependable, she responded to the call of those who needed her, even to the end
of the way and many will miss her faithful ministrations.
