The following record is a transcription of the last will of John TURNLEY,
and is recorded in Will Book, Volume A., 1836 - 1895, Page 72. It
was originally transcribed by Mrs. Gladys Stacey PITTARD, Woodbury,
Tennessee - February 1938.

Whereas I, John TURNLEY of s'd County & State this day being in Bad
health, But of sound mind Do ordain & constitute this my last will and
Testament - Item 1s I do give & bequeath to Elizabeth TURNLEY,
my beloved wife all my property of every description after my just debts
are paid to be hers her life time, And after her death to be divided
between our two single daughters equally to be theirs and their heirs
forever to do as they may think proper - I do hereby constitute and
appoint William S. CLARK the Executor of this my last will &
Testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand in

GOWEN, one of the subscribing witnesses to the within last will, who being
first sworn depose and say that he was acquainted with the said John
TURNLEY, the Testator in his life and that he acknowledged the same in his
Presence to be his last will & Testament on the day it bears date -
