Following is a transcription of the above person's (TN) obituary from the Dickson
County Herald dated March 4, 1965:
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret S. Dickson, 82, were held
Friday morning, February 26 at 11 o'clock in the chapel of the Dickson Funeral Home, Rev.
Roy West and Rev. Marvin Brooks officiating with burial in the Dickson Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Dickson died Wednesday Morning, February 24, at her home on
Vanleer Route 1.
She was a native of Houston County, daughter of James and
Fredonia Adams Dickson. She was the widow of F. O. Dickson, who died 11 years ago.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Dollie Dickson Cannon of Vanleer;
one step-daughter, Mrs. Geneva Lee of Nashville; three step-sons W. A. Dickson of Vanleer,
Ivel and Harry Dickson, both of Gary, Ind.; one niece, Mrs. John Hunt of Dickson Route 3;
two nephews, Clark Dickson of Donelson, Tenn., and James Dickson of Murfreesboro, Tenn.
