Following is a transcription of the above person's (TN) obituary from the Dickson
County Herald dated Thursday, Apr. 10, 1980:
"Services for Mr. Raymond LeComte, 78, of Rt. 5, Dickson,
were held on Tuesday afternoon, April 8 in the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home, officiated
by Bro. J. H. Eades. Burial was in LeComte Cemetery on LeComte Road in Tennessee
City.
Mr. LeComte died on Sunday night, April 6, at Goodlark Hospital.
A retired farmer, he was a native of France and the son of Frank LeComte and Celine
Deshires LeComte. He had lived for 73 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Allie McElhainey LeComte of
Dickson; two sons, Raymond A. LeComte of Bruceton and Charles T. LeComte of Dickson; a
brother, Sam LeComte of Dickson; and give grandchildren."
