| Gainesboro Sentinel Gainesboro, Jackson Co., Tenn. Thurs. Nov. 13, 1902 Fifteen Years for MCCLOUD. Circuit Court has been in session here since last Wednesday, with Judge W. T. Smith presiding. Attorney General W. R. Officer is in attendance. This is his first court here and he has make a good impression. William MCCLOUD was tried for the murder of Winton BURKS, and sentenced to fifteen years in the penitentiary. He appealed to the Supreme Court. The trial of William HENSON for the murder of Henry MCBRIDE is now in session. The case of the State against Jeff SEBRER for the murder of Joe EMBERTON was continued until next term. The witnesses in the case of the State against Jim WARREN were discharged and a verdict of not guilty will be entered. |
