WOODWARD, pastor of the Methodist church here, spent Tuesday in Nashville as the guest of his aged sisters, Misses Fannie and Annie WOODWARD at the ancestral WOODWARD home. The visit was in the nature of a tribute to the memory of their late father, William WOODWARD, who was born on September 16, 1824. The one-hundredth anniversary of the birth of their revered ancestor was spent quietly. |
