Myrtle Orbis Judd
Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Orbis Judd, 81, 
of Cookeville, were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, 
August 13, 2001, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral 
Home in Cookeville, with Bro. Dewey Glenn Masters 
officiating. Burial was in the Bear Creek Cemetery 
with Whitson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. 
Mrs. Judd died Saturday, August 11, 2001, at Overton 
County Nursing Home. She was a housewife. 
Born June 17, 1920, in Overton County, she was the 
daughter of the late Sammie and Chancie Mae (Peterman) 
Webb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in 
death by her husband, Joe Judd; a brother, Milburn Webb; 
and two sisters, Gertie Hicks and Clemma Hooks. 
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Clio and 
Estellean Webb, Overton County; two sisters and 
brothers-in-law, Reba and Clay Smith and Hessie and 
Uyles Bilyeu, all of Overton County; and a host of 
nieces and nephews.
