Looking for info on family of Frank M. SHELLITO born 3/22/1869 died 11/9/1945 and is buried in Clarkrange,Tn. He was married to Laura J. STEELMAN born 12/7/1871 died 6/24/1963 and is buried in same cemetary.They had 3 daughters Mary who married Martin WOODY,Eliza who married William Burton MILLER and Etter who married Mitchell MILLER, a brother of William Burton. Eliza and Burton are my Grandparents. Burton's parents were Leeander MILLER And Sarah Jane ASHBURN. They lived in Overton and Fentress Counties. Would appreciate any info and would be glad to share what I have. Thanks

KEARNEY, MULLINS, TAYLOR, MC BEE-Overton co & Anderson co Tenn. I am looking for information on the above families. My mother,Lou Taylor, was supposed to have been born in Oliver Springs Tenn. Her father's name was John Taylor her Mother supposedly died when she was born in 1904. She was raised in Byrdstown, Pickett co., Tennessee by her Aunt Celina McBee Hyso [Hysaw], She was told she had a sister named Nettie. She never saw her mother, father or sister. Wes Kearney was supposed to be her uncle. I have some info on the Mullins family,Kearney family. Seeking info on:Telitha(Tabitha)MARTIN 1850 Roane CO TN census & Matilda Jane LAWSON (possible sister) w/Margaret CAMERON (possible sister-in-law), in household. 1860 Overton CO TN Census: Telitha MARTIN in household of David LAWSON (possible brother-in-law). My gfather WILLIAM RILEY MARTIN whose mother was named Telitha, was born in Rockwood,Roane CO TN Sept 20, 1859. Telitha found last in 1880 Bledsoe CO TN census James BRITT, nephew in household. William MARTIN married 3xs. One wife Molly GROSS, last wife Mary Elzada MCCART. Children of Telitha: David, Martha, John & William. No record Telitha ever married. I believe Telitha was my g-grandmother. I need to make a positive connection to William MARTIN who came to Scott CO TN w/ 2 brothers and sister. Too big of a coincidence! My father's uncles were a Dan & a Dave Lawson. Dan & Dave Lawson also listed in 1860 census as children of Matilda LAWSON in same household as Telitha

TN, probate in Overton Co.; he was brickmason on census. 1850 was in Blount Co. TN, 1860, 1870, 1880 in Overton Co. TN. Known children: Daniel Robertson WRIGHT b. 1828 NC married twice, went to AR; John W. WRIGHT b. c1835 NC went to Lonoake Co. AR; William WRIGHT b. c1839 NC; Sarah WRIGHT b. c1842 TN; Abner Young WRIGHT b. c1844 TN married (1) Florence BROWN, (2) Sinthia A. NICKLES, Young died c1909 St. Francis Co. AR; James Calvin WRIGHT b. c1847 TN died 1930 Mt. Juliet (Wilson Co.) TN; Eliza Jane WRIGHT b. c1851 TN married James S. DYER. Some of the children said to have gone to KY, some Wayne Co. MO and others to AR. Can anyone give me Elizabeth's maiden name and where in NC this couple was from. Also, where was Abner Young WRIGHT between 1880 and 1909? Am seeking information on my g-g-g grandmother, NANCY HAMPTON, who was enumerated in the 1830 Census of Overton County, TN. I have found no record of her after 1830. NANCY (CHEATHAM) HAMPTON was the widow of AHAB HAMPTON. They were married in Halifax, County, VA before migrating to Buncombe County, NC shortly before 1800. AHAB HAMPTON was the son of MICAJAH AND ANN HAMPTON, who also migrated to Buncombe County, NC from Halifax County, VA. LENT HAMPTON was the son of AHAB and NANCY HAMPTON. KEZIAH HAMPTON was the daughter of LENT HAMPTON. KEZIAH married my great- grandfather, WILLIAM RICH in 1823 in NC. ANYONE WHO MIGHT HAVE INFORMATION ON THIS FAMILY, PLEASE CONTACT ME? Thank you.

George HETHERLY is shown on page 9 of the 1820 Census. Believe him to be the father of Elmira HETHERLY b. 8 Dec 1820 who married my probable ancestor Samuel WAGGONER. Elmira lived to be a very old lady and died in Marion County Arkansas. Samuel WAGGONER was killed in the Civil War, 1862. Any help appreciated, would like to know George HEATHERLY's wife if possible.
