Looking for Charlie's father who is Thomas P. Taylor who I believe was born in this county. Charlie's mother is Judy E. Williams and they were married about 1870. Charlie has a brother named Will Taylor. Judy remarried Thomas S. Booher. Any information helpful.

He married Adaline ROBBINS in Overton Co. TN. It is told in our family history that his mother, Eliza BELK BILBREY (1816-AFT. 1870) was Cherokee. Eliza had a sister Barbary who m. Hansford BILBREY then 2nd, Hansford WILLIAMS in Overton Co. TN - these two sisters were dau. of Chamberlain BELK & Nancy BEALE of Lincoln Co. NC. Chamberlain BELK's P. was John Belk who m. Susanna WEST. Chamberlain BILBREY's Civil War pension papers, list him as over 6' tall with black hair and black eyes. I would love to prove the CHEROKEE CONNECTION. Stella died in 1965 in Michigan, Stella and her children came to Michigan in the late 1940's. Her father was George PRYOR, her mother was Laura (KEARNEY) Pryor. There were 16 siblings altogether, and they were related to GARRETTS, FLOWERS, MULLINS families in the Pickett, Green, Cumberland county areas. Any and all information would be appreciated. Thanks.
