On the back of this photo reads "Rear view of Dutch Reformed Church at Baskingridge.  Standing tall shaft recently erected to memory of my Grandmother Gaston's father-Alexander Kirpatrick and his wife Sara Carle.

 

On the back of this picture reads:  "Stone house built by David Kirkpatrick in 1765.  He was the grandfather of my grandmother Gaston and this house is at "Mine Brook".  Addition was recently built.  Carved in stone over front portico is D. M. K. 1765, standing for David and Mary Kirkpatrick.  Bernardsville.  Lilian 9/6/14

 

William B. Gaston and Elizabeth Kirkpatrick Gaston. William B. was the son of Joseph (1763-1796).  Joseph was the son of John (1730-1776).  John was the son of Joseph born 1700.  Joseph was the son of Hugh born 1687 who was the son of John* born 1645.

Joseph Gaston, M.D.,1816-1885 and wife Agnes Greenbank Gaston, 1828-1910.  Joseph was born in Basking Ridge, New Jersey Nov. 6th, 1816...passed to his reward at Honeybrook, Chester County, Pennsylvania, January 25, 1885.
