This grave yard is in very bad shape. We're not sure how many graves are actually there or who owns the land. Is there anyone I can contact to make sure the graves don't disappear altogether? I know for a fact that there are two civil war veterans buried there. I have information showing that the G.A.R. decorated their graves. To get there at Powells Crossroad turn onto East Valley Rd (I think that's the name) going toward Dunlap. Go about 3 3/4 miles and the road is on the right. The last time we were there, there was a single wide trailer sitting there and the graves are a little ways behind the trailer on the right. mailto:LindaK814@aol.com |
