Grayson Cemetery is located about 5 miles South of Dunlap, Sequatchie County, a mile past the Sequatchie/Marion County line, off of East Valley Road on Grayson Cemetery Road, Marion County, Tennessee. This cemetery is about 2 acres in size and is very well maintained.
We have done our best to record the names and dates of the individuals that are buried in this cemetery as they appeared on their markers but mistakes can be made. There were 8 graves that were marked with some form of marker but were unreadable or did not have any information on them. We are unsure of how many unmarked graves there are. My grandmother Nancy Ella Graham Bronson Layne is buired at the Grayson Cemetery as are my greatgrandparents, Thomas and Louisa Jane Graham and others. Beside the grave of Bertha gertude Graham is an unmarked grave, who is sister of Bertha Gertude Graham and daughter of Thomas and Louisa Jane Graham. The Bible record is dim, looks like Alice Elizabeth Graham was b. 1877 and d. Nov. 7, 1880.
