Anita "Sis" Walker, 30, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2006. Funeral will be 2 p.m. CDT Sunday in the chapel with the Rev. Andy Smith officiating. Burial in Keener Hill Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. CDT today.
Arrangements by Putnam-Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap, TN.

Dollie Cain Weaver

WALKER COUNTY MESSENGER April 4, 2005

 

Dollie Cain Weaver of Ringgold died Wednesday, March 9. She was 86. Services: Saturday, March 12, at 1 p.m. at Peavine Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Gaddis officiating. Burial: Peavine Cemetery. Pallbearers: Eric Edwards, Robert Collins, Bobby Edwards, Ken Hartman, Sonny Bass and Steve Dunlap. Honorary pallbearers: Members of Fellowship Sunday school class. Visitation: Friday, March 11, from 2-8 p.m. at Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, and Saturday prior to the service at the church. Contributions may be made to Peavine Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 40, Rock Spring, Ga., 30739. Arrangements by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.

Betty Marie Austin Woolford

WALKER COUNTY MESSENGER April 26, 2004


Betty Marie Austin Woolford of Chickamauga died Saturday, April 24. She was 83. She was born in Sequatchie Valley, Tenn. and had lived in Chickamauga since the 1960’s. She was a homemaker and a Pentecostal. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Woolford; parents, Will and Virty Mae Songer Austin; and brothers, Herman and Homer Austin. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Mae Austin of Chickamauga; several nieces and nephews. Services: Tuesday, April 27, at 11 a.m. in the J. Avery Bryan Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Wilton Grimes officiating. Burial: Garrets Chapel Cemetery. Visitation: Monday, April 26, from 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, Chickamauga.
