Pickett Cemetery is located at the base of Walden's Ridge on private property off East Valley Road, almost at the Sequatchie County line, just inside Marion County, Tennessee on Pickett Cemetery Road, 14 miles from Dunlap, Sequatchie County, Tennessee. It is about 2 acres in size and has a chain-link fence around the outside of the cemetery. There are close to 75 graves that are unmarked, marked with an unreadable marker or marked with a marker that has no identification on them.
We have done our best to record the names and dates of the individuals that are buried in this cemetery as they appeared on their markers but mistakes can be made. We have also tried to write down every marker that could be read but some of the markers are old and weathered and are impossible to read. If there needs to be a correction or an addition of someone we have left out, please e-mail us at: BerryglenPlace@aol.com and we will be happy to make the addition/correction.
There is a monument in the center of Pickett Cemetery that states:
