I am searching for any information on an Anderson Douglas who is on
page 52 of the 1820 census for Smith County TN. I believe him to be
my great grandfatherX3, who migrated to Illinois between 1820-1830.
I have just now made the connection to smith county via this 1820
census. Any info on parents, etc would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for information about a "Tom Tate" and his wife "Joscie
Hunt". They moved to Texas in the 1890's (as far as we can tell).
They were in Tennessee at one point, because the 1900 & 1910 Census
lists the childern's birthplace as TN.

I would like to know which members of the Echols/Eckols family are
mentioned in the will and inventory records of Smith Co., TN. for the
1805-1809 time period.
My guess is that either David or Joel Eckols
(whose names also appear in the records of Wilson and Sumner
Counties) appears in those records. David's estate was administered
in Wilson Co. in 1808 but he had land in Smith Co. about 1801.
Is
there any mention of Joel's or of David's having significant others
(like siblings/wives/children)? David Eckols had acquired land on
Second Creek in Sumner Co. c. 1800 at the same time as did Abner
Springs. John and Abner Eckols of Wilson Co. were purchasers at the
estate sale of Abner Springs in the early 1820s. Were John, Abner,
and David Eckols of 1820's Wilson Co. the orphans of David? Is Joel
Eckols mentioned? Thanks for your help.
