Looking for Bob Davis who wrote a query in Smith County, Tenn page.
He was looking for information on the following names. Sarah Mathews,
Allen Matthews, Hensley Smith, Matthew Davis. They were listed as
people who gotten some money from a deceased Davis family member. If
you see this query I have information on Sarah and Allen Mathews. I

Looking for information on Darthula Hunter and Mathew Matthews
married on May 17, 1849. I'm trying to find out who Darthula's
parents were. We have always had her last name as Hunt. I believe
Matthew is the son of Allen and Sarah Matthews. Any information

Looking for information on Henry D. LITTREAL who was born about 1842
in TN. His first wife was Elizabeth J. HOLLOWAY in AL and his second
wife was Alice Belle HACKER married in AR, but according to the
information on ancestry.com, when they married she was going by the
name of Alice B. DALTON, as she had been married 3 times prior to
Henry. I'm interrested in knowing who his parents were, where they
came from, and anything else. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I am looking for the father of Samuel H. Ray born approx. 1822 in
Tenn. I am wondering if he is a son of James Ray who bought land in
Smith County from Richard Harmond in 1800 and sold it to Joseph
Carver on June 5, 1837 witnessed by Joseph Carver and William Dycus.
Any information on the names of James Ray's children would be
appreciated. Samuel Ray lived in Jackson County TN in the 1850
census but was not Joseph and Kessiah's son. He moved to Kentucky
and then Illinois by 1860. Wife's name was Mary.

I'm researching my gr gr grandfather Charles Haynes (Hanes on census)
who lived all of his married life in Gordonsville area. He married
Margaret Helmantaller in 1850. Their children were David J., Amanda
I., John C., Thomas, Hettie Ann, Harriett, Jennie, George, Sarah, and
Mary. Charles was born 1823 and died 1878 and is buried in the Haynes
Sullins cemetery. I've hit a brick wall for about 5 years trying to
connect his family to the other Haynes families in Smith County
during that time and trying to determine who was his father. The
children married into the Webb, Carpenter, Hunt, Roberts, and Wade
families. Any leads of any kind would be greatly appreciated.

and Putnam cty Stout's who are listed on the 25th Reg. Infant.
rosters for Co.'s I and H. They were Co. H - Joseph M., Leonard and

I am interested in the Nathaniel THOMPSON who was married to Sarah
PARKER who possibly died in 1860. He is shown on the 1860 census for
Dixon Springs with children, Lucy, Nancy C, Thomas, Mary , Nathaniel
R and Alice B. I believe he had many relatives in the area of Dixon
Springs.

Looking for information on John A. WILSON married to Nancy B.
WOOTTEN, 24 Dec 1851, in Smith County, TN. Census records indicate
that a Nancy WOOTON, daughter of Elijah and Hannah WOOTON, resided in
Smith Co. in 1850. I can't verify if they are the same. They were
living in Smithland, Livingston Co., KY, in 1870 and until they died.
Family stories indicate John WILSON served in the Civil War.

Looking for parents of John Terry b. abt 1806 VA, moved to Smith Cty
with parents,there in 1810 to late 1830's. Married Mary ?? abt 1826.
On 1830 Smith Cty census with small children. Moved to MS by 1840.
Names of sons in order are James, John Jr.,and William. James Terry
could be father if named oldest son for father. Desperately need
help, please. Do not know maiden name of wife. Daughters are named

I am looking for any and all information on Matthew MCCLAIN(MCCLANE,
MCCLEAN, etc.)born in Granville County, NC-date unknown. His wife's
name was Mary. Only known child of this couple is Rosanna Margaret,
born Feb.24, 1801 or 1803 in White or Smith County, TN(another place
of birth is possibly South Carolina). She married Spencer C. PALMER
sometime around 1820. Any information on other children of Matthew
