Know all men by these presents that we Alx M CAMPBELL and Anne DIXON his wife of the County of Madderson State of Tennessee do hereby nominate Constitute and appoint James B MOORES our true and lawful attorney in fact for us and in our names to Demand and receive from clerks of the Court of Smith County Tennessee, or any person having possession of or liable for the Same any property lands or effects arising from the proceeds of the sale of real estate rents, or otherwise coming to us, in the rights of Said Ann DIXON, as one of the heirs and distributees, of the Estate of Alethia B ALLEN Deceased late of Said County of Smith and to make and execute all necessary receipts and acquitances for the Same Hereby ratifying and confirming The acts of our said attorney in this behalf in as full and ample manner as if we were present and Did the same in person       This 2nd day of may 1856   Alx W CAMPBELL  Ann DIXON CAMPBELL
