County Court August 6th 1866


Will of Isaac Gentry.  Deceased,

      I, Isaac Gentry, of the County of Union and State of Tennessee, being an old man, being weak in body but of sound mind and disposing Memory, Do herby make and Publish the following as my last will and testament, That is to say, I will and bequeath to my son Charles Gentry, twenty Acres of land being a part of the tract on which I now live, Bounded as follows, Beginning on a rock Corner made between Charles Gentry and Pryor Gentry, by myself, on the conditional line made between Addison Gentry and myself.  Thence running nearly an east course to a rock corner, thence with a fence to a line made between Charles Gentry, and one to a Walnut Corner on the top of the Buffalo Ridge.  Thence a South east course and the Ridge to a chestnut corner.   Thence with a conditional line made between Addison Gentry, and myself, to the Beginning Containing twenty Acres be the same more or less.  The land to be his right by him paying to Altimora Branson, my daughter, three years after my death, one hundred dollars and also the said Charles Gentry, is to pay to my son Alfred Gentry, Ninety Dollars at the end of three years after my Death above mentioned, payments to be made in current Bank notes or currency.
      I will and bequest unto my son Pryor Gentry, the remainder of my land and all my out property, including all my Tools by his supporting me and my wife during our lives or during my wife's widowhood, and said Pryor Gentry, is also to pay my son Addison Gentry, seventy-one Dollars and fifteen cents and also pay my son Martin Gentry, forty-two dollars and also to pay my son Isaac Gentry, twenty Dollars all this money to be paid in three years after my Death in current Bank notes.  I Will that my wife reside and remain in possession of the House and all the household furniture together with all the money, I may have at my death, during her natural life or widowhood, which she may dispose of as she see proper at her death.  My will is that my self and wife at our deaths be jointly Buried, and that my son Pryor the expense, and in case I leave any debts he is also to pay the same.
          Thereby nominate and appoint my Wife Elizabeth Gentry, and my son Isaac Gentry, be my executors to this my last Will and testament.
          In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal, this 10th day of April 1865.
