WILL OF JOHN HURST

	I, JOHN HURST, of the County of Claiborne . give to my wife,
SARAH HURST, all the lands I am . . possessed of on both sides
of Ball  Creek  in  the  10th District.. provided  she  remains a
widow,  but  should  she  intermarry  or  die  before  10  years
expires,  the  land... is  to be  rented  out  and  the profits  be
equally divided amongst my children... to my wife, that party of
land whereon stands my grist mill, dwelling houses and orchards
and  all  out  buildings  during  her  widowhood,...between  JAMES
JOHNSON and myself... thence to the field that HIRAM HURST JR
tends.. .1 give to my children: THONPSOM HURST one feather bed
and  furniture  and  thirty  dollars  in  trade;  LUCINDY  GRAVES
thirty dollars in trade; CAMPBELL HURST, SERENA HURST, JAMES D.
HURST,  MALOCKY  HURST,  ELIZA  JANE  HURST,  MARIAH  HURST,  JOHN
HURST and JASPER HURST one featherbed and furniture and thirty
dollars in trade,  the beds with the pillows to weighh thirty
four pounds each; to my wife, my negro girl Sal and every piece
of perishable property that I am possessed of, except one mare
and a new wagon.. my executors,. to collect all the money that
is due and pay all my just debts;  the balance to be equally
divided amonst my children hereinafter named (with exception of
one hundred dollars tq be given to my wife, SARAH HURST,  for
the purpose of repairing the grist mill); ESQUIRE BURST, ALLEN
HURST, MATILDY GRAVES, THOMPSON HURST, LUCINDA CRAVES, CAM?BELL
HURST, SERENA HURST, JAMES D. HURST, MALOCKY HURST, ELIZA JANE
HURST, MARIAH HURST, JOHN HURST and JASPER HURST,, At the death
or  marriage  of  my  wife,   SARAH  HURST,   all  the  property
heretofore  named  ... be  sold  and  the  money  equally  divided
amongst all my children.   I appoint my wife SARAH HURST and
ALLEN HURST my executors.
