Pathways is published quarterly by the Union County Historical Society established June 1, 1980. The Society meets the third Sunday of every month at the Roy Acuff Museum and Library in Maynardville, Tennessee. The journal is free to those who have paid a membership fee of $12 single, $17 family, all out of state members pay $17. Lifetime members pay $150.

Queries are limited solely and free to subscribers, no advertisements are accepted with the exception of publications by the Society and it's members. Photographs that are used or rejected will be returned to the person submitting them.

Pathways reserves the right to condense if necessary, and edit all material submitted for publication, and cannot be responsible for accuracy in fact or opinion expressed in material submitted for publication.
