This is a picture of my great-grandparents, John Crockett Beavers & wife Nancy Ellen with three of their children. (1) My grandfather, David Crockett, (2) Greenberry Franklin and (3) Nancy Ellen.   The picture was taken about 1887. John Crockett Beavers was born in Wayne County, TN on February 17,1839 to William and Mary Sally (Riggins) Beavers.  By 1851, the family had moved to Searcy County, Arkansas.
