Bratcher School -1908

In 1908, Miss Ethel Nowlin, who later became Mrs. Jay Yeiser, taught this group of young people at Bratcher School in the Cypress Inn section. We believe this old photo was submitted some years back by Dick Fowler, but if it was published at that time we could not find it. Miss Nowlin stands at left. A partial identification of the pupils is all we were able to get. Supposedly in the photo back tow are Nathan Harbin, Floyd Bratcher, Early Fowler, Sam Wilson, Aut Bratcher, Wiley Harbin, Bill Robertson, Dick Bratcher, Columbus Bevis, Elmer Montgomery, Dick Fowler, Burns McClanahan, and Rufus Harbin. Also in the picture are Anjoe Barnett, Bulah Robertson, Alma Pigg, Myrtle Bratcher, Bettie Robertson, Emily Robertson, Nannie Robertson, Neam Barnett, Ida Barnett, Vina Montgomery, Cora Fowler, Frank Robertson, Floyd Dial, Jim Fowler, Joe Robertson, Floyd Nard, and Walter Dial.
