Activities and Meetings

Watauga 2012-2013 Events

The meetings of the Watauga Chapter are held in Memphis, Tennessee, the fourth Monday of the month, October through May. Coffee and refreshments are provided from 10:00 – 10:15, followed by the meeting. Click here to request additional information on the meeting locations. December 2012

We will hold our Christmas Tea honoring our new and prospective members on Saturday, the 8^th. Please click here to request additional information and make plans to attend!

Please note that due to the Christmas holiday, we will not hold a Chapter meeting in December.

January 2013

Our first Chapter meeting of the new year will be held on the 28^th. Our speaker will talk about "Patriotism." In addition, we will elect the nominating committee for Chapter Officers.

February 2013

Our February meeting will be held on the 25^th. Our speaker will discuss "Women's Issues," plus we will elect Chapter Officers. Make plans to attend!

March 2013

We will hold our Watauga Awards and Recognition Luncheon on Saturday the 23^rd, honoring Watauga Essay Winners, Watauga Good Citizens, and Our 50 and 50+ Year Members. Our speaker will discuss "We’ve Always Had Knowledge." Click here to request more information. Mark your calendars!

April 2013

The 108^th Tennessee State DAR Conference will be held the 19^th - 21^st in Franklin, Tennessee. Click here to request more information. Mark your calendars!

Our Chapter meeting will be held on the 22^nd. Our speaker will discuss "Literacy Issues in the Memphis Area."
