The Patterson/Bland Family Cemetery is located about three miles south of Watertown at 781 Smith Hollow Road. It is on the hill behind the restored Patterson double story farm house built in the 1800's. There are many graves here, some marked and legible and some not legible. CLIDE P. - a rock in the cemetery had this name chisled on it. Can find no record of this person - could this be a baby?
NOTES: I know who most of these folks are if anyone is interested. I'm sure that there are more markers covered up that we missed. This info was gleaned from several trips by elderly people in the middle of the summer so you can see we didn't have the best of conditions to transcribe names and dates.
NOTES: Updated 24 Jul 1999.
