Jackson JONES
A J JONES of the Co of Weakley State of
Tennessee
being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of
this life do make and declare this to be
my
last will and testament as follows.
First I give to my brother W T JONES
my trunk
and my bed and bed clothes to my sister Ader and then one dollar per
month
to
be paid to Aunt Rebecca JONES from the
14th
day of January 98
Second there being one cow and
calf one
hog thirteen bushels of corn one note on R L JONES of 45
00
forty five dollars one note on W T JONES of 8 05 eight dollars
and
five cents half interest in tobacco crop grown in year 97 and
also
my watch this second part to be sold and turned into cash then after my
debts are paid the rest to be equally divided with all of my brothers
and
sisters.
And last I hereby constitute and
appoint Jim
WOODS to be the executor of this my last will and testament confirming
this and no other to be my last will and testament A J JONES

named A J JONES for his last will and testament in presence of us at
his
request have signed as witnesses to the same this 18th day of January
year
