     Margaret was born on 26 October 1855 at Wabash County, Indiana.1,2 She was the daughter of William Lee and Eve Misner. She married William Henry McConnehey at Adams County, Indiana, on 12 March 1874. MARRIAGE RECORD:

Be it remembered that on this twelfth day of March, 1874 the following marriage license was issued, to wit: State of Indiana, to wit: Adams County, SS.

To all who shall see these presents, greeting: Know ye, that any person legally authorized to solemnize matrimony, is hereby licensed to join in marriage as husband and wife, William H. McConnehey, Jr. and Margaret E. Lee, and for so doing this shall be his sufficient authority. Witness, A. J. Hill, Clerk of the Adams Circuit Court this twelfth day of March, 1874, E. A. Huffman, Deputy.

Be it further remembered, that on this thirtieth of March, 1874, the following certificate was filed in my office, to wit: State of Indiana, Adams County, to wit: This certifies, that I joined in marriage, as husband and wife, William H. McConnehey, Jr. and Margaret E. Lee on the twelfth day of March, 1874. George B. Cline, J.P..1,3,2 Margaret died on 8 July 1944 at Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, at age 88.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Black funeral home in Decatur for Mrs. William H. McConnehey, 88, who died Saturday night at her home, 718 1/2 Goshen avenue. Rev. F. H. Willard will officiate and burial will be in the Decatur cemetery. Surviving are a son, Earl, and a sister, Mrs. Martha Beimer, both of Fort Wayne; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren..4,2,5 Her body was interred on 11 July 1944 at Decatur, Adams County, Indiana, Decatur Cemetery.4,2

Margaret was listed as William Henry McConnehey's wife on the 1880 Census at Monroe, Adams County, Indiana.6 Margaret was listed as William Henry McConnehey's wife on the 1900 Census at Decatur, Adams County, Indiana.7 Margaret was listed as William Henry McConnehey's wife on the 1910 Census at Decatur, Adams County, Indiana.8
